Bandhavgarh Jeep Safari Timings:

The park is open from 1st October to 30th June. The safari timings are divided by the season. From 1st October to 31st January, all safaris run between 6 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. February to June have safaris running between 6 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The morning safaris are four hours long, and the afternoon ones are three hours long. It is advised to book the safari priorly, as it takes a longer time in the morning.

Tala Jeep Safari – The entrance to this zone is a distance of just 1 km from the Tala bus stop, so it is accessible. It is the prime zone for tiger views in Bandhavgarh National Park. Although it allows only 25 vehicles into this zone for morning and evening safaris. So safari tickets often get sold out within 3-5 minutes once the tickets are open for booking.

Magadhi Jeep Safari – This zone is at a 12 km distance from the Tala bus stop, southeast of Tiger Reserve, next to the Tala zone. It is also known as Gate 2 of Bandhavgarh National Park, and Charger Point is the most visited place in this zone. A total of 20 vehicles are permitted inside this zone every morning and evening. Even the bookings for single-seat safari facilities in this zone along with other core zones are available.

Khitauli Jeep Safari – It is also known as Gate 3 of Bandhavgarh National Park, and is located 5 km from Tala village. It consists of the western part of the tiger reserve, and it's situated just opposite the Magadhi zone. It's popular for spotting leopards, sloth bears, and wild dogs. Up to 20 vehicles are allowed into the morning safari. Evening safari allows up to 15. The guide and vehicle can be shared with other Jeep safari tourists for hiring.

Dhamokhar Jeep Safari – This buffer zone extends from the Magadhi zone and is 18 km from the Tala bus stop. Dhamokhar is also renowned for other species of wildlife such as sambar, chital, sloth bears, and leopards. Bird spotting enthusiasts will also enjoy the large variety of bird species in it. 20 jeeps are permitted in morning and evening shifts.

Panpetha Jeep Safari – It's a zone near the Khitauli core zone. It is 23 km from the Tala bus stop, and entry to it is from Pachpedi village. This zone is known for its scenarios, and most deer have been seen feeding in the forest by visitors. There are not so many incidents where tigers have been spotted.20 jeeps are allowed at one time for both the morning and evening shifts for safari.

Johila Jeep Safari – This locality is 40 km from the Tala bus station and falls on the northern side of the Tala region. It can be reached only through Chechpur village. One can encounter many visual points in this area, forests, rivers, streams, and waterfalls. The most noted waterfalls in this region are Johila and Kuthulia. In the morning and evening shifts, up to 20 jeeps are allowed to enter the zone daily.
